// 108 on fuel and blindness
perception is a very funny thing -
we could perceive a person as being extremely
passionate about a particular thing,
and ask ourselves why our interests are so divided
that we do not have any one particular interest that
gives us a so-called raison d'etre.
but science is smart. we have a 60 degree cone of vision
for a reason; our perception is just one of many.
we could fill in the gaps where there are blind spots,
but there is no given, no surety that what we see
is all there is to see.
The fuel for the fire might be escapism,
which i reckon has the same effect,
if not, a stronger one than passion itself...
the bottomline...
escapism could be the cure for a lack of passion ?
or...we need to dig deep and find 'passion' soon,
before it all turns to dust.

// 107 senseless.
and when the battle was done
i was promised my sun
but with a thousand nights gone
to any kingdom i run
There's a place I must go
For my heart is a child
That stumbles lonely for the arms of the wild
Hear the desert sigh
Sing the city's lullaby
The giant iris of the wide blue sky
Showing me the way bat for lashes. pearl's dream
//
pearl's dreambattle for lollipopslately been trying to toss out notions
of sinking ships, white flags, towel throwing.
but at the same time wondering if there's any
point in hanging in just to prove a point;
to feel like you're taking a lollipop away from a child,
to re-earn your stripes,
to constantly feel restrained by convention.
so fking senseless.
